Designate a board liaison

MAASH is asking every cultural organization to designate a board member as advocacy liaison. Recruiting board members to our advocacy work is essential to our success. Why? Board members are influential community leaders who can take action and mobilize others. They connect us to business, political, and community leaders. As volunteers, their advocacy is not construed as self-serving.

Let us know who on your board is committed to taking quick, high-level action when it's needed. Time commitment is only an hour or two a month, including making phone calls, sending letters or e-mails and meeting with elected officials.

To designate your board liaison, please email your organization's name, as well as your board member's name, title, affiliation, e-mail, and daytime phone to MAASH.
