Support $12.1 Million in Cultural Funding for FY 07
Dear Friends,
On Friday afternoon, the Massachusetts House and Senate approved the FY 07 state budget, including $12,093,520 in funding for the Massachusetts Cultural Council in FY 07, a $2.45 million increase over last year. This is a huge victory for the cultural community.
The budget is now on the Governor’s desk awaiting his signature or veto.
Now is the time to contact the Governor and Lt. Governor to ask for their support of this critical investment in the arts, sciences, and humanities. Please send an e-mail by clicking on this link:
