Senator Kennedy Co-Chairs New Senate Arts Caucus
April 19, 2005
Please Send a Thank You Note to Senator Kennedy
MAASH is pleased to join with the Americans for the Arts to announce the formation of the new Senate Arts Caucus with our own Senator Edward Kennedy as the key leader. Senator Kennedy has agreed to serve as the Arts Caucus co-chair along with Sen. James Jeffords (I-VT), Sen. Mike Enzi (R-WY), and Sen. Norm Coleman (R-MN).
On behalf of the Massachusetts cultural community, MAASH urged Senator Kennedy to be the Democratic leader of the new caucus. As the premiere state for arts and culture, it is fitting that our senior Senator be the national leader for arts and culture in the Senate.
MAASH urges the Massachusetts cultural community to thank Senator Kennedy for the valuable leadership that he has provided on behalf of the arts, sciences and humanities. His leadership in the Senate Arts Caucus emphasizes the importance of of arts and culture to Massachusetts.
Please take a moment to send
a thank you note to Senator Kennedy.
